  • Please bring in healthy foods for snack.  Birthday treats can be cookies or cupcakes.  All other snacks need to be non-dessert snacks.

  • We have many students with food allergies.  We have banned peanuts from preschool snacks.   Please double check ingredients to look for peanuts in the ingredients or if the item was made in a factory that processes peanuts.  Homemade snacks can be brought, but our students with peanut or milk allergies will be served something else

  • Please bring a snack each preschool day during your child’s snack week.  Four years olds bring snack Monday, Wednesday, and Friday and three year old bring snack Tuesday and Thursday.

  • Please send 1 gallon of 100% juice per day for snack or milk.  Apple juice is brought in a lot.  Milk (plain or chocolate) is another great healthy drink.

  •  If a classroom party falls during your snack week, you will not need to provide snack on the party day

  • Please send in the same type of flavors for snack. For example:  If you send in pudding, make sure it is all the same flavor.  It can be difficult to make everyone happy if there is a choice of flavors to hand out.

Please do not send in Capri Sun or Juice Boxes.  I have plenty of cups to use and some children spill more from a juice box than they drink.
